Russian surf band Bamboogie Injections adheres to the classic part of surf, creating original stuff at the intersection of Surf and Instrumental Rock where rough Dick Dale-style double-picking touches the smooth psychedelic surf-ballads. "Wild Dandelion Stomping" quickly makes an impression with some frighteningly fast picking, yet there's some speed variation making for an interesting mix. This band never strays far from a surf sound during the course of this CD. It's close to trad heaven, if you can dig it.
