CD Information
Beatmakers are a long standing Finnish instrumental band with many awards and accolades to their credit. The band received the 6th Rautalanka Award Prize in summer 2007 and has also been featured in prestigious music magazines such as Rhythm and Riff, as well as being noted by Iskelmä in 2004. "Making Movies" paints a cinematic portrait as a backdrop for these tasty instrumentals. Undoubtedly, the Ventures and the Shadows come into play as influences, while the talent of Beatmakers does ample justice to these well-played tunes.
