With tons of integrity, Driftwood will make you feel good, make you feel bad: and make you feel good about feelin' bad. This roots and alt country album comes from questioning things that are bigger than you, things you cannot control. But Driftwood does want to make you feel that you belong, and they drive the point home with a bright, semi-distorted guitar that brings to mind a cross between Dylan and Social Distortion. This is a somewhat tighter, meaner unit than found on their debut, but still rollicking, raucous, thoughtful and introspective; and this is all made beautiful by the lyrics and fine vocal harmonies. It is sweet and tough, and might just strike your fancy.
