CD Information
Although well known for his work on the road and in the studio with Texas guitar-slinger Johnny Winter (over 10 years), Jon Paris has toured with a number of other Rock and Blues greats. The impressive list includes the mighty Bo Diddley, (Rock-a-Billy's) Robert Gordon and Link Wray, piano pioneer Johnnie Johnson and former Rolling Stone Mick Taylor. Jon has maintained his own New York City-based Rock 'n' Roll 'n' Blues band (for over 25 years), and the accumulated experience is in evidence here. Guitar, bass, drums, harp and maracas lay the instrumental foundation and the production is clean within this 3-4 piece framework.
