Kirk Fletcher - Shades of Blue

Your Price:

CD Information

Kirk Fletcher’s second effort, “Shades of Blue”, showcases his always tasteful picking (as it should be). Heavier on covers than his debut, it’s the playing that makes this CD so much fun to listen to over and over. Kirk got his start in the San Francisco bay area a few years ago by joining in with Kim Wilson's Blues Revue. Since that time he had opportunities playing with Charlie Musslewhite, Lynwood Slim, and Junior Watson. He is a young, passionate guitar player with a soul that is fixated in the blues decade of the 50's & 60's. Kirk Fletcher knows what it means to lay back and simmer, but make no mistake about it ... when it comes time to step forward, he carries a razor and strop and knows how to use them. Lord have mercy!
