Since 1993, Little Roger & The Houserockers have displayed their love for the blues, primarily 40s and 50s blues and boogie. What sets them apart from other retro bands is their dynamic live show, which leaves the audiences at both clubs and festivals with tired legs, sore hands and a smile on their face. With this CD, that energy has been captured and put to disc. The band leader, Little Roger Wade (Harp/Vocals) is known for his stage presence, and Marion Wade (Piano) plays blues and boogie in the style of the greats from Chicago, feeling as much at home in rolling shuffles and pounding boogies as in slow blues à la Otis Spann. Hip-wiggling, foot-stomping and down-in-the-alley blues!
