Matt Kimbrell had been a member of two seminal new wave bands; Jim Bob and The Leisure Suits, in addition to the Ho Ho Men. As a session man on at least 25 albums, he has made his mark, paid his dues, and done it all without ever losing his twisted sense of humor. The man behind such classics a "White Trash Rock" now steps forward with a solo effort. The songs on this disc range from a gentle love song to punk era angst. In between there are some well crafted melodies, cynical lyrics and outstanding percussion that reflects influences from Southern Rock to Afro Pop. This CD is a beautiful blend of instrumental pieces from an artist, now deceased.
