Torhild Sivertsen is a Norwegian singer from Follese on Askøy, known as the front-man of the best-selling band Tomboy (1983 to 1991). She has also released several solo albums, produced by husband and songwriter Per Hansmark. The two were released as Norway's answer to Annie and Dave in The Eurythmics. The Notodden Blues Band are the leading blues pioneers in Norway. They have been going since 1979, making nice tight blues that enthralls their audiences. When they emerge from that joyous trance, the audience heads directly to the dance-floor. Torhild and the band can be super smooth and energized too. But they don't tend to overwhelm. With fine musicianship added, it just goes down easy.
