"Living Legends" is the result of a longstanding desire to record a true, 50/50 collaboration between these two blues luminaries; Paul Oscher and Steve Guyger. Paul brings a well-studied Muddy Waters style to the table. No one on the blues scene today can touch him as a multi-instrumentalist given his massive harmonica tone, his ability to summon Muddy's spirit in his slide guitar playing, or his prodigious piano technique. Steve Guyger has devoted two decades to preserving classic blues harp traditions. He worked with Jimmy Rogers from 1980 to 1994. Paul and Steve are a link to the forefathers of modern blues, bridging the past and the present.
