CD Information
The fabulous talent of Lloyd Price that produced "Personality" and "Stagger Lee" is alive and well in his daughter. Priscilla grew up in Charleston, WV living above the local storefront church, where she was first exposed to church gospel. Priscilla has a beautiful and powerful voice, and her readings of this original material are masterful. The horn charts are the best we've heard in a long time and the session is complimented superbly by guitar work from Ace Moreland. This CD is well recorded and offers a variety blues tempos. Compliments should also go to Bob Greenlee for his tremendous songwriting abilities. Priscilla Price convinces me that great music is still possible.
