Proudly & The Presents - Incognitos

These folks have produced a great CD of blues, roots-rock and pop that, at certain times, exudes a hard-rockin' Orlons sentiment (an obscure reference, I know). The sweet and powerful female vocals occasionally give way to the rough and tough pipes of the band's bass man. Proudly and the Presents have inhaled many forms of American music, all the way from rockin' George Thorogood blues, to swingin' bluesy/rockabilly stuff, to a 60's British beat. Blues fans will find some excellent guitar chops and plenty of harp to enjoy, while listeners in general will enjoy something that is refreshing. These guys are open-minded and all 14 songs are original.
