Rakatan - Top Secret Line

A rock mix with symbolism and cool grooves to enhance your alphas. With its' blues and roots underpinnings, this is a "trance ticket" to an elevated sense of well-being. Guitar, bass, drums, keys and horns follow the cool vocal stylings of Melanie Ray (at times, reminiscent of Chrissie Hynde.) nicely, and a number of nature-related sounds are included too. Most seem to agree that this band is on to something good. Hanging tough to original rock roots, Rakatan is the word "rock" from square one. The songs are not over-produced, but kept rockin' raw with every bit of human feel left in the songs. A band to check out if you are looking for something different within the rock world.
