"Water Rising" is the third album from Ratso's Full Blown Blues Band. John "Ratso" Gerardi's 30 years of experience comes shining through on these twelve great selections. Ratso's philosophy is simple: Groove Music with a cutting edge, and man does he get the groove goin'. A veteran of New York clubs such as CBGB, The Bitter End, Manny's Car Wash, Lone Star Café, Downtime and The China Club, he has become a workingman's musical institution. Special appearances are provide by Grammy-winning keyboardist Jeff Bova, guitarist Scott Henderson and vocalist Angel Rissoff. The name of this CD implies something antic and funky, and that's just how these blues come down.
