CD Information
In the classic style of Bill Haley & His Comets or Boyd Bennett & His Rockets, The Big Six plays small combo, jump blues and R'n'R. This CD mixes those 50's sounds (occasionally) with Roscoe Gordon influenced ska. The overall sound is very vintage, and enjoyable, and will make you want to jitterbug or jive, depending on weather you are a swinger or a rock'n'roller. They do some covers of old Doo-Wop songs yet add a lot of fun and an extra beat for those of us who like our music with a kick. This band from England is excellent and the CD should be acquired by fans of rock'n'roll who like it blended with jump blues, and lots of screaming' & hollerin' saxophone solos.
