These Belgian roots-rockers play a nice mix of swamp-blues, cajun-rock, tex-mex-pop, honky-tonk, rockabilly and flamenco-surf. I don't know how they blend it all so well, but their magic is our delight. Yep - Scotty Moore is peeking around the corner and Excello Records shine through too. In 1997 The Blues-O-Matics made their debut at the prestigious Brussels Blues Festival. In 1998 they released this, their first cd: 'That's All'. Since then they shared the bill with such names as Duke Robillard, The Paladins and Otis Rush and appeared at the Belgian Rhythm & Bluesfestival in Peer 99. Their second CD 'Rockillero' was presented in September 2000 in a sold out AB-club in Brussels and in 2002 "Let's Roll!", a live cd-single came out.
