The Pyronauts - Surf and Destroy

The Pyronauts have become proficient in the sounds of Dick Dale and The Del Tones, The Surfaris, The Ventures, The Chantays, and Santo & Johnny as well as many others. They have also opened for Dick Dale (3 times), Gary Hoey, Peter Tork (of the Monkees) and Jan and Dean's band, among a long list of others. "Surf and Destroy", however, represents the groups finest work. It was recorded on an analog 2" 24 track tape recorder to achieve a warmer more natural sound. This CD also marks the bands first all original release.
