Description
A stylish blend of blues, jazz and soul – all being of strong, uniform quality. As a songwriter, he belongs with the absolute elite of the blues genre. Baby Boy Varhama has been playing the blues and relative music for forty (+) years. His performances have taken him from local bars to Japan, from playing acoustic solo Delta blues to being a vocalist with a big band. With a nice assortment of instrumentation, Baby Boy fleshes out a superb set of blues. His friends add tremendous, in-the-pocket support throughout these proceedings. The piano is tasty all along and the harmonica playing (while not being over-the-top) is clearly and added pleasure.
