This is Buddy’ first solo instrumental record and follows on from his success as the leader of the popular rockabilly band The Hot Rod Trio. Deke Dickerson says “Buddy Dughi’s been around for a long time, playing with the Hot Rod Trio, but now he’s struck out on his own with some cool surf and rockin’ instrumentals! Double the necks, double the twang, and double the FUN!” He plays with a variety of setups including a custom Fender double neck, assorted Gretsch 6120 guitars, a flamed double neck Hallmark guitar custom-made by Bob Shade, and a black Mosrite (Ventures model). Buddy uses various amps , such as a 1959 Bassman, or two 25L15 Standels.
