As of late, Blue Lunch has taken much of the bluesy, jazzy, (sometimes) old-timey styles and created one sound that incorporates all of those influences and more into one sound that seems to satisfy the pickiest of musical connoisseurs. Switching from one style to another is the trademark of “Above The Fold” and brings yet another style into the mix; a little Rhythm and Blues. With excellent playing, singing and songwriting, the resulting release is as entertaining as actually seeing the band perform in concert. Blue Lunch can really kick out the jams!
