Essra Mohawk - The Boy With The Way

Your Price:

CD Information

This is a CD of Essra's first 45, while she was working under the name Jamie Carter. It features the title song and "Memory of Your Voice" and was produced by Hutch Davie (He produced Shirley Ellis' "Name Game"). A year later, United Artists offered her a position as a staff writer. She did not take the offer but Shadow Morton, who produced both the Shangri-Las and Vanilla Fudge, discovered her and her music and two years later the Shangri-La's recorded Essra's song "I'll Never Learn". Commemorating the 40th anniversary of Essra's first record, this is a truly collectable record. Originally on Liberty Records, Essra was already deemed to be a seasoned pro.
