Spoonful of Blues - Howlin' Screamin' and Cryin'

Spoonful of Blues is a Norwegian band featuring a dense soundtrack with heavy drums, often distorted guitar and good playing. They differ from most Norwegian bands which usually play a lot of American West Coast Blues; Howlin' Screamin' and Cryin' is (more) pure blues rock. Actually, it mixes up styles with a blend containing hill country blues, rock and boogie. Everything on the record has been written by guitarist Morten Omlid and the composer / songwriter Jostein Forsberg. This CD easily engages the listener and draws you into Spoonful of Blues' world of dark, back streets.
