If you're a fan of instrumental rock and roll or just great guitar playing but don't know Don, buy this disc. Great tone and a great soundtrack for ridin' down the road with the windows down on a back road headed to fun. This is an all instrumental album that showcases his Hillbilly Boogie pickin' front and center. Recorded with no overdubs (other than Don playing bass himself) he storms full throttle through the Rockabilly, Country, Blues, Surf and Cajun influences that he has brought together under one roof for decades. You might call it a swinging collection of instrumentals reminiscent of Joe Maphis and Jimmy Bryant.
