Konstantin Kolesnichenko was born in Dnipro, Ukraine, a closed city because it had a secret military and a rocket engine design office. It’s interesting that despite this fact, foreign music was finding its way to that city. On "Minor Differences", Konstantin develops a sound and approach that is truly his own. Employing "Gazell Method" valves coupled with low pitched harmonicas, he's elevated his art to a new level of musicality and emotion. Konstantin Kolesnichenko is an exceptional musician who leads his quartet down many of the roads that made so many 50s and 60 blues musicians great. Superb playing throughout!
