Singing the blues for royalty and heads of state is a stretch for the young daughter of a West Virginia coal miner. For Priscilla Price to be introduced to John F. Kennedy on the White House lawn, to shake the President's hand and get invited to perform at Hyannis Port with the Leo Price Band was totally off the charts. The same was true when she met and performed for Queen Elizabeth and Canadian Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson in Montreal in 1966. This singer's career has been punctuated with big name performers and bands. As she lays down one steamy blues number after another, her charisma puts her in total control of the proceedings.
